MagNoodles Moving Ahead

This has been a great week - MagNoodles are now sold in 6 stores in the Pittsburgh area, including Whole Foods, as of Thursday! I am excited that so many people value the benefits of organic, clean grains, and the high standards in which MagNoodles are produced. The new website is done - and soon you can purchase MagNoodles online - by the case or by the box.
The new recipe created by my husband this week included Sundried Tomatoes, and a bottle of white wine. Sauteing chopped vidalla onions, adding the sun dried tomatoes with white wine, simmering, and topping al dente MagNoodes, turned out to be quite interesting. I wish he had left out some of the wine, we agreed it would have been nicer to have toasted a glass or two to the new recipe creation!
But the moral of the story is - MagNoodles are versatile - How do you
MagNoodle? Find the Recipe link on my website and submit your recipe.

Smart Dinner Pasta Salad

Tonight I am boiling MagNoodles, tossing it with a fresh basil pesto, and cutting up organic tomatoes ( Yes, I take the seeds out), and tiny chunks of fresh mozzarella (drain the brine). It is not only delicious, but the colors are beautiful, and the pasta is healthy!
And if it doesn't rain, we will be enjoying this out on our deck with grilled veggies.

Now in Select Stores in the Pittsburgh, Pa. Region

MagNoodles has launched. Now you can lunch with a MagNoodles Pasta salad.
Available at McGinnis Sisters, Soergels, East End Coop, SunnyBridge Natural Foods, and Frankferd Farms, I am learning how to navigate Pittsburgh streets. And boy do I enjoy doing demos and introducing people to the great texture of my multi whole grain pasta. I find that the demos do best when I simply toss MagNoodles with a little bit of good Olive Oil and allow the flavor of the pasta to come through.
Thank you Pittsburgh customers, for embracing MagNoodles!

Marrying into an Italian family, I thought that the "when you're here you're family" meant instant warmth & happiness from being around the family. Now I know why their happiness was so strong. It was Pasta.

There wasn't a meal that didn't serve pasta, which I learned quickly was referred to as "macaroni". Coming from my German/English background, I looked for Mac & Cheese everytime my mother-in-law invited us over for "Macaroni dinner". But I was never disappointed, for I loved her homemade pasta. And my husband and I always left the house in a good mood. Now I know it was from the pasta:

High-Carb: Better Moods than Low Carb

Researchers in Australia studying 106 overweight and obese adults put 55 of them on a very low-carb, high-fat diet, and 51 on a very low-fat, high-carb diet. After a year, weight loss in both groups was about the same (13.7 kg or 30.2 lbs). But, while both groups reported improved mood after the first 8 weeks, after that only the higher-carb group maintained their good mood; the low-carb group was more angry, depressed, and confused after a year on the Atkins-like diet. Researchers suggested a link to better serotonin synthesis with the higher-carb diet, or perhaps to "withdrawal symptoms" in Western-diet environment replete with breads and cereals.Archives of Internal Medicine, November 2009; 169(20):1873-1880

So there you have it.

It is time for MagNoodles - Smart Pasta to create family unity, happiness, and well, maybe world peace.

Welcome to MagNoodles

Eat Healthy, be Healthy! My Mantra ....

More to come from Mrs. MagNoodle, the creator of the most nutritious and delicious multigrain pasta, soon to be available on your grocer's shelf.
(You can beg your schools to serve them, too...)

MagNoodles are clean, made from 4 grains and 4 vegetables, and proudly made in America.
Yes, I know that you are accustomed to pasta from Italy, but I happen to think that the good 'ole USA has been blessed with those wonderful amber waves of grain for us to enjoy.

MagNoodles are organic, non-GMO, high in fiber, NO ADDITIVES, no enhancements - all nutrients naturally come from the grains and vegetables. Including Vitamins A & B & C.

And Kids love them. I should know - I am a mom myself. I created MagNoodles because I could not find a palatable whole grain (or whole wheat) pasta that had only natural ingredients.
And forget those pastas that say "made with whole grain", if the first ingredient is not a whole grain, then you might as well feed your family white pasta. Same goes with the word "enriched" - MagNoodles do not have anything added. They are healthy on their own.

So if you are tired of reading labels where you can't pronounce the ingredients ( I know you will go to your pantry now and grab a box of pasta to read...) then stay tuned!

MagNoodles are coming soon!
